Well last week was baby-watch. Bambie had 12, 2 didn't make it, she now has 10 fat wigglers. Elsa had 7, one is runty, but it's still feisty, so hopefully it will make it. Unfortunately Neala and Gretel (the purebred American Chinchilla litters) have yet to pop. They are on day 36, there's still a possibility that they will still kindle, but I'm starting to loose hope. If she doesn't kindle by this next weekend Neala will be bred and offered up for sale. She's given us 2 litters, but we have both her son and her daughter, so if she continues to fight us I will see if there is someone else that can work with her. | |
The up coming litters are 6-7 weeks old now. They will be available starting on May 5th. The green highlighted ones are the ones that are still available. Sorry, I've been busy so no recent pics, I'll try to get some (for sure before they are available). If you are interested in any specific one let me know. |
We have expanded our rabbits to the point of doing 2 full trays of fodder a day, and it would probably be a good idea to go to 2.5. Pretty soon short little me is going to need a ladder to reach the top. :P If you are interested in building an automatic watering system for your rabbits' fodder check out our Design PDFs page. |
